The India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) Chief, Amitesh Kumar Sinha, has announced a bold plan under the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM):
- ✅ Target 2030: Develop the complete, fully indigenous supercomputing system stack.
- ✅ Target 2032: Roll out the manufacturing and market-ready products.
- ✅ Current Progress: Indigenous content in HPC systems has already reached 50% and is projected to exceed 70% by the end of the decade.
This includes developing homegrown CPUs, GPUs, AI accelerators, and everything else needed to power India’s scientific research, defense, and industry. We are building the future right here!
