BJP’s Stance: The party has attributed the massive win to the people’s trust in the party’s policies, governance, and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They emphasized the acceptance of the party’s principles of Seva, Sushasan, and Garib Kalyan (Service, Good Governance, and Welfare for the Poor).
Opposition (Congress) Allegations: The Congress party has strongly rejected the results, labeling the election as an “election theft”. Their primary allegation is that their candidates’ nomination papers were illegally and arbitrarily rejected by election officials in conjunction with the BJP, preventing many of them from contesting the polls. The Congress has reportedly filed a petition challenging this in the Bombay High Court.
